Google Expands Search Profiles to India, Canada, and Brazil Soon
Google is extending its Search profiles feature to more countries, starting with India and Canada. The company announced that users in these regions can now create their own dedicated Search profiles, with Brazil set to follow soon. The update was shared by Robby Stein, VP of Product at Google Search, who posted on X that this expansion is one of the most requested updates for Search profiles.
A Search profile is a customizable, shareable page that consolidates a user's social accounts, websites, posts, and links into a single location. Google explains that this feature helps creators and publishers make their content more discoverable on Google Search and Google Discover. The help document for Search profiles provides additional details on how to set one up.
Stein expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, 'Starting today, creators and publishers in India and Canada can set up their own dedicated home base on Google, followed by Brazil rolling out soon.' This move is part of Google's effort to enhance user experience by providing a centralized platform for managing and showcasing digital content.
