Google Fitbit Edge Smartwatch Leaked Ahead of October Launch
Google’s upcoming Fitbit device, the Fitbit Edge, has been leaked again, offering a fresh look at what could be the company’s next wearable. The latest leak, shared by Android Headlines, includes exclusive photos of the device, which features an oval smartwatch display and resembles the Fitbit Air. According to the report, the Fitbit Edge is expected to launch in October with a price range of $149 to $199. It will support both Android and iOS, offer notifications, a seven-day battery life, and GPS. The watch is also rumored to come in colors matching the Pixel 11 Pro phone: Canyon, Olive, Fog, and Obsidian.
The Fitbit Edge includes sensors on the back for tracking health metrics and a long button along the side of the display. This isn’t the first time the device has surfaced, as Google previously included what appears to be the same watch in promotional photos for its upcoming product lineup during the Made by Google event in August. Reddit users quickly spotted the mystery device at the time, though Google has yet to confirm the details.
If the leaked information is accurate, the Fitbit Edge could serve as a mid-range option between the Fitbit Air and the more expensive Google Pixel Watch 5. With an October launch on the horizon, more details should emerge soon.
