Google Fixes Multiple Issues in Android 17 QPR2 Beta 4 Update

Google has released Android 17 QPR2 Beta 4 for Pixel devices. This update addresses several issues reported by users, including a thermal management problem that caused overheating and unexpected reboots. The company also fixed an issue with screen mirroring to external USB-C XR glasses.

The new build resolves various bugs related to gesture navigation, launcher UI, power menu, phone call audio, Recents app switcher rendering, and low-contrast rendering in dark mode. Additionally, it fixes a problem where enabling 3D mode on connected smart glasses resulted in a blank screen.

Pixel devices running Android 17 QPR2 Beta 4 can now be updated via the OTA method, without needing to flash system images manually. Users are advised to report any issues they encounter using the Android Beta Feedback app or by joining the Android Beta community on Reddit.
