Salesforce Stock Surges on Strong Earnings and New AI Partnership
Salesforce stock surged in Thursday's premarket session by about 13% after the company released strong Q2 earnings and upbeat guidance, as well as a new partnership with Anthropic.
The tech giant reported its strongest net new annual order value growth in four years, according to CEO Marc Benioff. He highlighted customer retention and expanding AI adoption across Salesforce's core cloud products, Slack, and Agentforce.
Bienioff pointed out that bookings for A1E and A4X bundles more than doubled sequentially, with contract lengths improving across new business and renewals.
The company also expanded its partnership with Anthropic, developing Claude Force, which combines Anthropic's Claude with Salesforce's customer data, applications, security controls, and AI tools.
