Google Fixes Pixel 11 Oversight with Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6.1 Release
Google has released Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6.1 for its Pixel devices, addressing an oversight from last week's release that left out the Pixel 11 series.
The initial release of Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6 included builds for the Pixel 6a through Pixel 10 models but skipped the new Pixel 11 devices. However, Google's Mishaal Raman had hinted at the time that Pixel 11 builds were in the works and would be forthcoming.
The updated release, Android 17 QPR2 Beta 6.1, now supports all modern Pixel devices, including the Pixel 6a through 10-series and Pixel 11 models. The build numbers are CP41.260831.007.A3 for the older devices and CP41.260831.011 for the Pixel 11 series.
Google has issued a warning about a potential issue with Face Unlock on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, requiring users to re-enroll their facial recognition data for it to function properly.
