Google Gives Users Four Days to Reject Suggested Edits
Google has updated its help document to clarify that users have four days to reject suggested edits to their Google Business Profile.
If a user suggests an edit and it requires your review, you will receive an email or in-product notification. You then have four days to accept or reject the suggestion. If you don't respond within this timeframe, Google may apply the edit to your local listing if it is supported by other publicly available information.
According to the updated help document, 'Google may receive suggestions from users to update your Business Profile.' To help maintain accurate information and provide more control, Google will notify you about certain suggested edits before they are published. However, in cases where edits must meet policy guidelines, Google may apply them without prior review.
