Google Home Update Enhances Voice Controls and Fixes Bugs
Google has released an update for its Home smart speakers and displays that addresses various issues users have been experiencing. The update improves media and smart home voice controls, allowing users to perform multiple tasks with a single command.
For instance, users can now say phrases like 'Turn off the lights and stop the music' or 'Skip this song and turn on the backyard lights.' This expanded understanding of voice commands should make it easier for users to control their smart home devices using just their voices.
The update also fixes issues with alarms and lists in Google Keep integration. Users can now create, edit, and view their alarms and lists without any problems. Additionally, the update cleans up rogue automations from third-party apps and makes it easier to use the automations editor by listing conditions, starters, and actions in alphabetical order.
