Google has launched a tribute animation honoring country legend Dolly Parton after her death at age 80. Her representatives confirmed to The Tennessean that Parton died on Tuesday, Aug. 25, following a brief battle with cancer.

The butterfly animation and the phrase 'We'll Always Love You, 1946 - 2026' appear whenever someone searches for Parton's name in Google. This Easter egg feature is a nod to Parton's hit song 'Love Is Like a Butterfly,' which was released in 1974.

Parton grew up in the Smoky Mountains, where she would frequently chase butterflies as a child. The W emblem at Dollywood, her amusement park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is also a butterfly.
