Google Bolsters Gemini Live Voice Assistant with Productivity Tools

Google has rolled out new productivity features for its Gemini Live voice assistant. The updates enable users to manage tasks, emails, and schedules through voice commands.

The features include Personal Intelligence, which allows Gemini Live to remember past conversations and connect information across Google apps; Daily Brief, a spoken summary of tasks, emails, and calendar events; and hands-free inbox management, which lets users search, summarize, star, archive, or delete Gmail messages with voice commands.

The system integrates with Spark, enabling users to set up multi-step tasks through natural voice commands. The tasks can be scheduled across days or weeks and work seamlessly across Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and the web.
