Google Japan Unveils Rolling Keyboard with Conveyor Belt Keys
Google Japan has unveiled an unconventional keyboard design that features a conveyor belt system with rolling keys to supposedly make one-handed typing easier. The Gboard Conveyor Belt Version consists of four belts, each containing 29 keys, which are meant to move towards the user's hand instead of requiring manual movement.
This innovative approach aims to reduce finger and arm strain during single-hand typing sessions. The team behind it is also exploring various color variations, high-speed models, and a shorter version for mobile devices.
