Google Japan's Quirky Keyboard on Four Wheels
Google Japan has unveiled its latest Gboard keyboard concept, dubbed the Conveyor Belt Version. This unusual keyboard features four motorized belts that transport 116 keys to your fingertips, making it ideal for one-handed typing.
The Gboard Conveyor Belt Version is part of an annual tradition where Google Japan's engineers showcase a quirky and intentionally odd keyboard design every October 1st. Last year's model replaced keys with disc dials.
While this concept may seem gimmicky, it actually has some practical applications. The slow and deliberate typing experience can be beneficial for people who struggle with standard layouts due to limb differences or injuries.
