Google Keep Tricks Boost Productivity for Android Users
Google Keep is a note-taking app that many people use to save quick thoughts and ideas. Parth, an Android analyst, has been using Google Keep for years but recently discovered several overlooked tricks that have changed his experience with the app.
He found that using colors to categorize notes makes it easier to scan and manage them. For example, he uses different colors for article ideas, personal tasks, and urgent notes. This visual separation helps him quickly understand what each note represents without having to read every title individually.
Parth also discovered a shortcut in Gmail that allows him to launch Keep from the right sidebar and create new notes directly from his inbox. He can even include links to original emails and browse existing notes while reading an email, making it feel like parts of the same workspace.
Another useful feature is archiving notes instead of deleting them. This way, he can keep completed or inactive notes out of sight but still search for them whenever needed.
The recent integration with Gemini has also changed how Parth interacts with his notes. He can now turn Gemini's answers into new Keep notes without copying and pasting anything. The integration works in both directions, allowing him to retrieve specific details from Keep using voice commands.
