Google Launches DeepMind Institute for AGI Discussion
Google and Google DeepMind have launched the DeepMind Institute, an organization aimed at advancing discussion around artificial general intelligence (AGI).
The institute's directors are listed as DeepMind co-founder Shane Legg, Google executive James Manyika, and Google DeepMind head Demis Hassabis.
Legg will also serve as executive editor. The announcement noted that participants in the discussions will not always agree with one another and may change their positions as new data and information emerge.
