Google Meet Now Works Seamlessly with Microsoft Teams on Android Devices
Google has expanded interoperability between its Google Meet and Microsoft Teams services on Android hardware. This means users can now join meetings hosted by either service using their devices.
The feature is available for all Google Workspace customers whose hardware runs Android, with the rollout starting October 1, 2026. Users may see the new functionality within a one to three day window after that date.
Google Meet hardware can now connect to Microsoft Teams meetings, and vice versa, as long as both services are running on Android-based devices. This change moves the connection between the two services beyond its previous preview status.
