Google Messages Adds Chat Themes for Personalization
Google Messages has finally caught up to its competitors in terms of personalization. The app now offers chat themes, allowing users to set different wallpapers for every conversation and even customize color schemes.
This feature was previously available on Samsung Messages, but it's now been rolled out to Google Messages as well. To access the chat theme option, users can tap the three-dot icon in the top-right corner of a conversation and select 'Chat theme.'
The new feature is not without its limitations, however. Users cannot apply themes to all chats at once, which means they'll have to repeat the process for each individual thread.
Additionally, chat themes are only visible to the user who applied them, not the other person in the conversation.
