Google Messages Bug Resurfaces Old Texts, Exposing Private Conversations

Google Messages is plagued by yet another bug, this time allowing old texts to be resurfaced and resent to the wrong person.

This issue, reported on Reddit and other online platforms, sees an old message from a different conversation being attached to a new message. In some cases, users have noticed that the unexpected text can actually be sent to the recipient along with the intended message.

The bug appears to affect many Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy devices, suggesting that it could be related to Google Messages rather than a specific phone model. Currently, there doesn't seem to be a reliable workaround for this issue.
