Google Messages Heads Back to Samsung Finder

Google Messages may soon integrate with Samsung Finder, allowing users to search for conversations stored in Google Messages.

This possibility arises from code found in the latest Google Messages beta version v20260921 (via Android Authority).

The feature isn't functional yet, but references to Samsung Finder suggest that Google is working on an integration that could bring message search to Samsung's system-wide search tool called Finder.

Finder currently lets Galaxy users search for content across supported apps and services, including messages when Samsung Messages was available. However, this functionality doesn't extend to Google Messages.
