Google.org Supports AI Readiness Initiatives in Higher Education

Google.org is supporting two higher education initiatives focused on AI readiness in learning environments. The first initiative, led by the Coalition of Urban Serving Universities (USU), aims to enhance its Urban Adult Learner Institute (UALI) with Grow with Google resources and AI-integrated lessons.

The goal is to equip educators with practical, hands-on tasks to offer students better career guidance and support their success. Thirty universities will test these new methods so other schools can replicate what works.

The second initiative, led by Education Design Lab (The Lab), aims to help community colleges transform strategic planning into an engine for innovation. The Lab's Future of Learning framework will be applied to build scalable, durable solutions that strengthen continuous innovation across campuses.
