Google Overhauls Play Store Listings for Premium Android Games
Google is revamping its Play Store app listings to showcase premium Android games in a more engaging way. The updated layout features prominent banner graphics, color-matched UI elements, and detailed information on each game.
The new design includes expressive labels for game ratings, such as 'Absolute peak' or 'Controversial', instead of traditional rating scores. Users can also view proper scores by tapping through to the ratings section.
Other notable changes include a row beneath the title noting details like Play Pass inclusion, availability of in-app purchases (IAPs), and the presence of ads. The app listing now includes a 'What you get' list and a 'More features' breakdown for easy reference.
