Google Photos Adds Redact Tool, Mood Filters, and More

Google Photos has rolled out several new features to enhance user experience. A Redact Markup tool is now available, which includes a Redact pen that allows users to blur or pixelate sensitive information in screenshots and images.

The tool also comes with precise thickness sliders for the Pen and new fonts in the Text tool.

Additionally, Google Photos has introduced 'Moods' on Android, which enables users to apply a vintage-inspired look to their pictures. There are seven moods available, including Crisp 35mm (film), 2000's night (digicam), Retro contrast, Night light, Blue Haze, Any Minimalist, and Rich textures.

Users can also access 15 new Remix templates on Android and iOS in select countries. These templates include red carpet moments, whimsical birthday cards, and photo booth shots.
