Google Photos Bug Leaves Users Unable to Share, Delete, Edit Edited Photos

A glitch in Google Photos has left users unable to share, delete, or edit photos after making changes.

The issue occurs when a user makes an edit to a photo using the app's editor. After editing, the 'Share', 'Edit', 'Add to', and 'Trash' buttons become unresponsive, preventing further actions on the photo.

Google has confirmed the bug and is working on a fix. Until then, users can try two workarounds: saving edited photos as copies or visiting the Google Photos website to delete or share them.

The issue appears to affect multiple generations of Pixel phones, as well as non-Pixel devices like the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
