Google Photos Bug Locks Users Out of Editing Features

Google Photos users have been experiencing issues with editing and deleting photos due to a recent bug. The glitch has prevented users from sharing, adding to galleries, or re-editing images that have already been edited. This includes simple tasks such as cropping an image.

According to various user reports on Reddit, the issue seems to affect users with Google's Tensor-powered devices, particularly those from the last few generations. The bug has caused frustration for many users who rely heavily on Google Photos for their photo management needs.

In a statement with Android Authority, Google confirmed that they are working on a fix and aim to roll it out as soon as possible (ASAP). In the meantime, users can try two workarounds: saving edited photos as a copy or accessing the web version of Photos to share or delete images.
