Google Photos Introduces Automatic Beat Matching for Highlight Videos
Google Photos is working on a new feature called Beat Match that will automatically sync photo transitions to the tempo and rhythm of your chosen background music track in Highlight Videos. The feature is currently available in version 7.93.0, but it's not yet live for users.
The redesigned video editor was rolled out by Google last year, allowing users to create automatic Highlight Videos that select text, music, and cuts synchronized with their photos and clips. However, manually adjusting each photo to align with the beats of the music track can be a time-consuming process.
Beat Match aims to simplify this process by automatically adjusting the timing of each photo to sync with the music's beats. Users will still have control over the process, as they can choose to turn off Beat Match or fine-tune the beat-matched output.
