Google Photos Unveils Redact Tool and Expanded Wardrobe Feature

Google Photos has introduced several new features to its app, including a Redact tool that allows users to blur sensitive information in their images. The Redact tool is part of an upgraded Markup feature, which now offers new fonts and precise thickness sliders for pens and highlighters.

The Redact tool can be used to censor specific parts of an image, such as a vehicle's license plate number. This feature is rolling out to all Google Photos users on Android worldwide.

Additionally, the app's Wardrobe feature is now available to more people in the US, India, and Brazil. The Wardrobe feature allows users to create a catalog of their clothes and jewelry from images in their library, which can be used for styling ideas.
