Google Pixel 11 Falls Short of Expectations with Incremental Updates

The Google Pixel 11 is out, but it's not bringing much new to the table. Despite being $100 more expensive than its predecessor, the base model Pixel 10, the Pixel 11's specs are largely unchanged from last year's model.

One notable exception is a slimmer camera bar, which makes the phone slightly more comfortable to hold and less awkward in terms of size. However, this alone may not be enough to convince users to upgrade from the previous generation.

The Pixel 11 does come with some new AI-powered features, including Magic Capture, a tool that allows users to capture multiple usable stills from a video recording. There's also Rambler, a speech-to-text feature built into Gboard that can remove speech errors and produce a more polished text.

However, the lack of major hardware upgrades and significant new features may make this year's model feel like an incremental update rather than a substantial improvement over its predecessor.
