Google is working on an AI-powered 'Battery Usage Summaries' feature for Pixel devices. This new feature will use Gemini Nano for on-device analysis of battery usage patterns and provide tips to improve battery life.

The summaries will focus solely on apps actively used within the last 14 days, excluding system apps that can't be disabled. Users will also have the option to enable or disable the feature from the three-dot menu icon in the Battery Health section.

According to strings found in Android 17 QPR 2 Beta 3, devices older than the Pixel 8 series are unlikely to get this feature due to Gemini Nano support limitations. The feature will also allow users to provide feedback on the summaries, with options for positive and negative feedback.
