Google has introduced a new AI-powered image tool called Google Pics, built on its Nano Banana AI model. This tool allows users to create and edit images using simple prompts, making it easier for non-designers to produce visuals.

Pics is integrated with Google Workspace, enabling users to create, add, and edit images directly within Docs and Slides. The integration with Drive is expected in the coming weeks, allowing users to access images and other assets stored on Google Drive while working in Pics.

The tool's AI model allows for specific changes to be made to existing designs rather than creating entirely new visuals each time. This makes Pics useful not only for generating images but also for refining existing designs.
