Google Releases Antigravity Android App Ahead of Googlebook Launch
Google has made its Antigravity platform available on Android devices in the Play Store. The move comes ahead of the launch of Googlebook, a new operating system from the tech giant.
Antigravity is an agent-first development platform that allows developers to work alongside and customize autonomous agents in the background. Version 2.0 was released at I/O 2026 in May, followed by macOS, Windows, and Linux versions.
The Android version of Antigravity features a native interface and interacts with the Linux environment available on new laptops. Developers can use it to create and deploy apps directly on Googlebook.
For now, the app is only available on Googlebook OS, and its compatibility with smaller phone screens is unclear. It's part of Google's efforts to make the platform suitable for developers, which also includes the ability to install the Linux version of Antigravity, Claude Code, and OpenAI's Codex.
