Google Revamps CC for Family Organizing Tasks
Google has revamped its experimental AI platform called CC to help families stay organized. The agentic AI platform is designed for up to six family members to share information with, and each user can choose which emails to share with the agent.
The CC agent creates a shared calendar and task list that all group members can view, as well as sends a daily briefing with information about immediately upcoming events and to-dos. It also allows users to add it to a Drive folder or share specific files with the agent, and interact with it in a dedicated Google Chat window.
Existing CC users will receive a prompt from Google to upgrade their account and try out the new tools, while new users can join a waitlist for access to the platform. The company has outlined several privacy limitations for the agent, including restrictions on adding or removing family members and accessing individual inboxes.
