Google Rolls Out AI-Powered Image Creation Tool for Workspace Customers

Google has unveiled Google Pics, an AI-powered image creation and editing tool for its Workspace business customers. The new feature, built on the company's Nano Banana image generation and editing model, allows users to create and edit images directly within Workspace apps.

Pics offers a range of features, including object segmentation capabilities, in-image text editing and translation, and collaboration tools. Users can also generate multiple versions of an image from a single prompt and choose their favorite option.

Google Pics is currently available to most Workspace business customers, as well as all Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. It will be integrated directly into Google Slides and Docs, with Drive support coming soon.
