Google Rolls Out Fix for Flawed Google Home Mobile App
Some users of Google Home mobile apps have been experiencing errors while using the app to interact with their linked devices. The issues, which do not affect the web version, include slow performance and error messages when tapping or interacting with devices.
A user on Reddit reported that reinstalling the app resulted in an 'Internal error encountered' message along with a loading indicator. The issue seems to be specific to mobile apps, as users who access Google Home through their browser have not reported any issues.
According to the Nest Community account, Google is actively rolling out a fix for this bug. In the meantime, one user suggested clearing the cache and storage, and switching to a different Wi-Fi network may resolve the issue temporarily.
