Google has released an update to its Google Play services platform, introducing several new features and improvements. The update, version 26.33, includes support for App Bundles, a new way for users to discover and install curated sets of complementary apps after downloading an app from the Google Play Store.

The App Bundle feature is designed to increase user engagement by making it easier to find related apps and games. It also has value in uncovering otherwise undiscovered content. The update includes several other changes, including new developer features for Utilities and Device Connectivity processes, as well as improvements to Google Play Protect's detection of potentially harmful apps.

Users with a Googlebook can now access their phone's apps directly from the device. Additionally, the update brings changes to the Google Play Store, including a chip on the Home and Search page highlighting quality apps on large screen devices.
