Google Sends 'Does this look right to you' Emails for User-Suggested Updates

Google is now sending out notifications to business owners asking if user-suggested edits or updates are correct. These emails, which ask 'Does this look right to you?', show the suggested update and allow the owner to mark it as accurate or not.

The email was first spotted by Lluc B. Penycate on X (formerly Twitter), who noted that Google is sending these 'Does this look right to you' emails to verify user-suggested updates on Google Business Profiles.

The email states that a Google Maps user has noticed outdated information on the business's profile and suggests an update. The owner can review the suggested change, which may include updating the business title, and share their feedback within four days by clicking on a link provided in the email.

This new email style seems to be a departure from previous notifications sent by Google to business owners.
