Google Slapped with €403 Million Fine for EU Privacy Rule Breach
Google has been fined €403 million ($463 million) for violating the European Union's strict privacy rules.
The fine was imposed by Ireland's Data Protection Commission, which investigated Google's handling of users' location data.
The commission found that Google did not lawfully or fairly process location data in users' Web & App Activity and Location History settings.
