Google Tackles LSA Bug Causing Account Unlinking Issues
Google is working to fix a bug that has been causing issues with its Local Service Ads platform. The problem, first reported by Jack Hepp on LinkedIn, involves accounts being unlinked from their associated Google Business Profiles.
In response to complaints about the issue, Ginny Marvin, the Google Ads Liaison, confirmed that her team is actively working to resolve the bug. She noted that it was unrelated to the recent migration of LSAs to Google Ads.
Hepp had reported experiencing issues with his longest-running LSA account being unlinked from its associated GBP and not having access to any LSAs in his active Google Ads accounts.
The platform has also been plagued by stability issues, including errors when trying to access the LSA accounts. Hepp noted that he was still waiting for a response from Google after contacting support about the issue.
