Google Taps Nitin Gajria as MD for Southeast Asia and South Asia Frontier Markets

Google has appointed Nitin Gajria as managing director for Southeast Asia and South Asia frontier markets. In this role, he will lead Google's commercial strategy across the region, focusing on helping businesses scale digitalisation and accelerate AI-led growth.

Gajria brings over 25 years of experience to the position, having spent more than a decade at Google. He previously led Google's publisher partnerships business across Asia Pacific and has also held senior marketing and brand roles at Enfa A+ and Procter & Gamble.

The appointment marks a return to Southeast Asia for Gajria, who began his Google career in the region 12-and-a-half years ago. He expressed excitement about the opportunity to accelerate digital economies across the region, citing growing enthusiasm for AI and increasing adoption of Gemini app users.
