Ohio State University (OSU) has partnered with Google to create an on-campus space within its Innovation District on the west campus. The collaboration aims to support OSU's AI fluency initiative, which seeks to ensure that all students understand and can effectively utilize artificial intelligence tools in their fields of study.

The partnership grants OSU access to Google's DeepMind research laboratory, providing students with cutting-edge tools like personalized AI assistants. Additionally, the university will participate in a first-of-its-kind research ambassador internship program offered through Google Public Sector.

According to Ben Johnson, an OSU spokesperson, this collaboration marks 'one of the largest foundational partnerships between Google and any U.S. university.' The space is expected to be formally previewed later this fall, with more details forthcoming.
