Google Tests 'Dive Deeper' Feature in Discover Feed

Google is testing a new feature in its Discover feed called 'Dive Deeper.' This feature, announced by Robby Stein from Google on social media platform X, aims to make exploring topics and discovering related web content easier. When users click on the 'Dive Deeper' option, they are taken to an AI-generated short topic overview with links to other articles and community reactions.

The topic overview is generated using artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes, according to Google. However, clicking on a link within the overview takes users to a longer version that includes links to publisher articles. Stein explained that this feature will be tested first on videos, followed by multiple design iterations to determine what works best.
