Google Tests Grid Layout with Up to Five Products per Page
Google is experimenting with a new layout for its search results page, testing the display of three products in a grid format that can expand to show four or five items. The change was spotted by user Khushal Bherwani, who posted about it on X (formerly Twitter) and shared a video showing the variation in product displays.
In some versions of the test, clicking on a product shows three items in a grid with a larger box size, whereas normally there are four products displayed. This change is part of Google's ongoing efforts to improve user experience and provide more relevant search results.
