Google Unveils AI-Powered Travel Tools to Revolutionize Trip Planning
Google has rolled out a batch of AI Mode updates inside Search that let travelers track flight prices, browse hotels, and price out trips in airline miles or hotel points without leaving the chat window.
The company's late-summer travel push breaks down into five concrete capabilities, each shipped or expanded within the last six months. Flight price tracking is built directly into AI Mode conversations, pulling live data from more than 300 partner airlines and travel sites.
Hotel discovery and booking assistance are also available inside the same AI Mode chat, currently limited to English-language use in the United States at launch. This represents a narrower rollout compared to the flight-tracking feature's 180-plus country reach.
AI Mode can now display travel costs in airline miles or hotel points rather than forcing everything into a dollar figure, and this pricing view was reported as available globally at launch.
