Google Unveils Gemini 4 Argon for Cyber Defenders
Google has unveiled Gemini 4 Argon, an advanced AI model designed to help identify and patch software vulnerabilities. The company announced its introduction on September 30, with a phased rollout approach that includes an initial release to trusted cybersecurity defenders and its own employees through the Fairwind program.
The broader commercial access for developers, enterprises, and consumers will be made available later in stages, starting with the paid Gemini API and Google AI Ultra. However, Google has not committed to a specific date for this wider release.
According to the company, Argon can produce up to one million output tokens in a response and is priced at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens during the introductory period. After this period ends, prices will be $4 and $20 respectively.
