Google Unveils Gemini 4 Argon for Enterprise Coding and Cybersecurity
Google has launched Gemini 4 Argon, a new AI model designed for enterprise tasks, coding, and cybersecurity. The model can handle long-horizon projects, thanks to its ability to process up to 1 million tokens, a significant increase from the previous 64,000-token limit. This expansion allows it to tackle complex, multi-stage problems without losing coherence.
The system also focuses on cybersecurity, autonomously detecting, verifying, and patching critical vulnerabilities. Google claims that during early testing, Gemini 4 Argon identified a severe, previously unknown vulnerability in healthcare software that other AI models missed. The tech giant is initially rolling out the system to a select group of cybersecurity specialists through its Fairwind Program, with plans for a broader commercial launch later.
Internal deployments of Gemini 4 Argon at Google have already shown significant benefits, including a 40% efficiency boost in algorithm optimization and server memory savings. The model has also achieved leading benchmark scores in software engineering, long-form video comprehension, and domain-specific fields like legal research, finance, and tax analysis.
Alphabet’s Google (GOOG, GOOGL) unveiled Gemini 4 Argon on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The model will launch with an introductory developer API price of $2 per million input tokens. Retail sentiment on Stocktwits was described as ‘bullish’ with ‘normal’ message volumes, and GOOGL stock has gained 10.5% year-to-date.
