Google Unveils Gemini 4 Argon: Next-Generation Frontier Intelligence Model

Google has announced Gemini 4 Argon, its next-generation frontier intelligence model. This AI is designed to excel in complex workflows across software engineering, enterprise knowledge work like legal and finance, and cybersecurity defense.

Gemini 4 Argon has already been integrated into Google's internal workflows, where it has shown impressive results in tasks such as coding, research, and writing. It has helped teams optimize their productivity and accelerate breakthroughs in areas like quantum computing and memory efficiency.

The model will be rolled out to a set of trusted cyber defenders through the Fairwind Program, with a phased approach to ensure safe release. The U.S. government's voluntary process for pre-release model access is being followed, and feedback from early testers is being gathered before making Argon available to developers, enterprises, and consumers.

Argon will launch at an introductory price of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, with cached input tokens priced at 95% off the input token price.
