Google Unveils September 2026 Update for Pixel Watch Series
Google has rolled out a September 2026 update for its Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4 devices. The update is part of the company's Feature Drop initiative, which aims to enhance user experience on Wear OS devices.
The new update brings several improvements and features to the Pixel Watches. One of the notable additions is Gemini Personalization, which uses both past conversations and connected Google apps (Gmail, Calendar, Search, YouTube, and Photos) to provide more personalized responses. This feature allows users to access information such as their calendar events and email content directly from their watch.
Additionally, Pixel Watch 3 and newer devices now have a double pinch gesture that can open the At a Glance feature, notification center, Gemini response, Wallet app, workout metrics, Google Maps views, and Recorder app. The update also includes an improved wrist turn gesture as universal back navigation.
The Pixel Watch 4 and newer benefit from enhanced raise-to-talk performance thanks to an updated gesture model. The update also includes general bug fixes and improvements.
