Google Unveils Upgraded Pixel Phones and Watch with Advanced Camera Capabilities
Google's latest lineup of devices has been unveiled ahead of its Pixel launch event. The new Pixel phones, including the base model Pixel 11 and the high-end Pixel 11 Pro, feature significant upgrades in camera capabilities and performance.
The Pixel 11 boasts a new 48MP wide lens with 56 percent more light sensitivity, as well as a 10.8MP 5x telephoto lens that supports up to 30x Super Zoom. The phone also features an upgraded battery that lasts over 30 hours and supports 25 percent faster wireless charging compared to its predecessor.
The Pixel 11 Pro takes it a step further with a new camera bar called HiLight, which includes an LED indicator light for Gemini interactions and incoming calls from favorite contacts. The phone's display maxes out at 3,600 nits, and the camera features a new 48MP telephoto lens with up to 120x Pro Zoom.
The Pixel Watch 5 also received significant upgrades, including Breathing Emergency Detection, which can trigger an emergency call if it detects a significant drop in blood oxygen saturation. The watch also includes new workout features like AI-generated strength training plans and the ability to track reps directly from the device.
