Google Updates Phone App for Dual SIM Users
Google has rolled out an update for its default Android phone app, 'Phone by Google', in mid-September. The new feature allows users with dual SIM setups to select which SIM to use when making a call directly from the call screen.
This update is available in version v229 and later of the 'Phone by Google' app. Previously, users had to set a primary SIM for calls in the Android settings or choose a phone number from a pop-up menu that appeared when placing a call.
The new SIM switching menu simplifies the process of making calls on dual SIM devices, providing users with more control over which phone number is used for each call.
