Google Wallet Adds Balance Check for Google Store Points

The latest update to Google's Android version of the 'Google Wallet' app has added a new feature: the ability to check your balance of Google Store Points. This is part of the rewards program for Google's official online store, where users can earn points by making purchases. However, unlike Google Play Points, these points cannot be redeemed through the 'Google Wallet' app itself.

The update brings parity with the existing feature that allows users to check their Google Play Points balance within the same app. For now, it seems this is purely a cosmetic change, allowing users to view their balance without having to navigate to the separate Google Store website.
