Google Wallet Becomes an All-Purpose Organizer
An Android Police writer recently shared their experience of using Google Wallet for everyday tasks. They started by adding custom passes to the app, which can be generated from photos or barcodes.
The writer found that creating these custom passes was easier than expected and could recognize documents such as vehicle registration and car insurance. They used this feature to store various information, including their car's VIN, registration details, and insurance card.
This allowed them to access the necessary information quickly without having to search through multiple apps or folders on their phone. Additionally, they could classify these passes as private, which required biometric verification for added security.
