AI tool Relay has shut down its operations, effective immediately. The company's paid access will be terminated on September 14, while free access was already closed.

The founder and CEO of Relay, Jacob Bank, is joining Google's Chrome team as Vice President of Product. In this role, he aims to bring AI productivity tools to Chrome users, building on Google's ongoing efforts to integrate AI into its products.

Bank previously worked at Google before founding Relay in 2021. His return to Google signals the company's continued push to embed AI deeply into its products and user experience.
