Google Workspace Gets Boost in Access Request Automation with Zenphi Update
Zenphi has released an update to its no-code workflow automation platform for Google Workspace that allows organisations to automate access requests beyond what their identity providers cover.
The challenge with access requests is not the task itself, but rather the context, according to Zenphi's CEO Vahid Taslimi. With this update, workflows can dynamically provide the information they need to make decisions automatically, reducing manual exceptions and labour-intensive tasks for IT teams.
The new feature uses Google Directory capabilities to route access request approvals based on department, cost centre, site, and reporting line across hybrid identity estates. This means that requests can be routed to local managers at specific sites or through additional approval steps where required.
